At 19 you can Get your New York Drivers license online and avoid going to the DMV. Nineteen (19) years of age or older drivers can easily get their drivers license for a couple of reasons. First, you do not have to get written consent from your parents or legal guardians. Second of all, you do not need to go through the Graduated License Law program (which is for drivers under the age of 18).
