Nevada Drivers Permit Information

To get your drivers license in Nevada, you need to apply for a Class C drivers license. You must have a Nevada license within thirty (30) days of establishing residency. You must carry your license at all times. 

Nevada Drivers License Requirements

18 years and under 

  • Full Drivers License (Class C)

    • You must be at least 16 years old.
    • Must have held an Instruction Permit (see below) for at least six (6) months.
  • Instruction Permit

    • You must be at least 15 years and 1/2 of age.
    • Parent or Legal guardian signature.
    • Must have nevada drivers ed or 100 hours of supervised driving experience (and 10 hous of night driving).
