missouri drivers permit - MO

To get your drivers license in  Missouri, you need to apply for an Operator Class F license. You must carry your license or permit at all times. 

Missouri Drivers License Requirements

18 years and under (Graduated Driver License - GDL)

• Full Driver License (will indicate that you are a minor)

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid for a max of 3 years.
  • Must have held an Intermediate License (see below).

• Intermediate License

  • You must be between 16 and 18 years of age.
  • Valid for max of 2 years.
  • Must have held an Instruction Permit (see below) for at least twelve 182 days.
  • Must have driving instruction (40 hours).

• Instruction Permit 

  • You must be at least 15 years old.
  • Valid for 1 year.
  • Must drive with a licensed driver.
  • Must have signature from a qualified person.

18 years and over

• Regular Class F Driver License
